SuperCircle

SuperCircle is a full-service technology and reverse logistics platform that powers circular take-back and recycling programs for leading retail brands. Founded in 2022 by Chloe Songer and Stuart Ahlum — the same team behind recyclable sneaker brand Thousand Fell — SuperCircle was built to address a critical infrastructure gap connecting retail brands with the recycling industry. The company provides turnkey trade-in programs, excess inventory solutions, and dynamic data reporting, enabling brands to launch consumer-facing take-back programs through which shoppers send in used apparel, footwear, and textiles in exchange for store credit. SuperCircle's technology uses order history data to identify material composition at scale, streamlining sorting and routing materials to one of approximately 30 recycling partners for fiber-to-fiber upcycling or downcycling. The company works with over 50 brand partners including Reformation, J.Crew, FIGS, and Parachute, and has diverted over two million garments from landfills since launch. SuperCircle raised a $7 million Pre-Series A in late 2023 co-led by Radicle Impact and Ulu Ventures, and has raised a total of approximately $31 million across its funding history.
