Still Bright

Still Bright is a clean technology startup developing RACER (Rapid and Complete Electrochemical Reduction), a patented hydrometallurgical process that converts concentrated copper ore to refined copper at room temperature and pressure with 90–99% conversion efficiency in under 60 minutes. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Newark, New Jersey, the company's electric, closed-loop system captures sulfur byproducts and eliminates toxic emissions, offering a sustainable and cost-effective alternative to traditional copper smelting. Still Bright targets pilot projects in 2026 to unlock new domestic copper sources critical for electrification and clean energy infrastructure.
