Remix Therapeutics

Remix Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company in Watertown, Massachusetts, founded in 2020, that develops oral small molecules to modulate RNA processing. Its REMaster drug discovery platform designs compounds that harness cellular splicing machinery to control expression of disease drivers; lead candidate REM-422 is a first-in-class oral mRNA degrader targeting the pre-mRNA of MYB, a historically undruggable transcription factor implicated in cancers including adenoid cystic carcinoma, and received FDA Fast Track designation in March 2026 after preliminary Phase 1 anti-tumor activity. In June 2026 Remix agreed to a reverse merger with Nasdaq-listed Passage Bio; the combined company will keep the Remix name, trade as RMTX, and is backed by a private placement of about $100 million led by Decheng Capital, intended to fund REM-422 clinical readouts into 2028.
