Anytype

Anytype is a Berlin-based privacy-first personal knowledge management and collaboration tool built on an open-source, local-first architecture. It allows users to create notes, databases, wikis, tasks, and knowledge graphs in a block-based editor, with all data stored encrypted on-device and synced peer-to-peer without routing through centralized servers. Built by the Any Association (a Swiss non-profit), Anytype uses end-to-end encryption, giving users complete ownership and control of their data. The platform supports offline-first workflows, open protocols, and is fully open source, positioning it as a privacy-respecting alternative to Notion, Roam, and similar tools.
