About
YPlasma is a deep-tech startup and INTA spin-off developing solid-state DBD (dielectric barrier discharge) plasma actuators for thermal management, flow control, sanitization, and propulsion applications. Its core technology uses ionized air to cool high-performance electronics — including data center chips and laptops — silently and without moving parts, replacing traditional fans. YPlasma has operations in Newark, New Jersey and Spain, and raised $2.5M in seed funding led by Faber in 2025 to scale its plasma-based cooling solutions.
