Vima Therapeutics is a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering a new era in the treatment of dystonia and related movement disorders. The company is developing a novel oral therapy designed to help patients regain control of movement by targeting the underlying biology of disease. Dystonia is a chronic, disabling movement disorder affecting both adults and children with no cure, sharing biology with Parkinson's disease and dystonic cerebral palsy — conditions that together affect more than one million people in the United States. Founded by neurologist Dr. Bernard Ravina in partnership with Atlas Venture, Vima launched in May 2025 with $60 million in Series A financing and is headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
