Vaultree

Vaultree is a Cork, Ireland-based cybersecurity company that pioneered Data-In-Use Encryption, enabling organizations to search, share, and process sensitive data while it remains persistently encrypted — eliminating the need to decrypt data to use it. The company's Vaultree Encrypted Data Suite (VEDS) provides cryptographic access control so that even database administrators and cloud providers cannot access plaintext data. Founded in 2020 by Ryan Lasmaili and Tilo Weigandt on over a decade of cryptography research, Vaultree has been recognized as a World Economic Forum Technology Pioneer (2023), won the EIC Accelerator Grant, and partnered with Google on BigQuery encryption.
