Universal Fuel Technologies (UniFuel) is a chemical technology company dedicated to making the transition from fossil to renewable fuels profitable and commercially viable. Its core Flexiforming technology — in commercial operation since 2015 and protected by 33 granted and pending patents across 12 countries — enables oil refiners and HEFA operators to transition flexibly to renewable gasoline and fully drop-in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) using existing facilities. The company's team of technical founders has spent over 12 years developing the platform and is a member of the ASCENT Advisory Committee, co-led by Washington State University and MIT and funded by the FAA, NASA, DoD, Transport Canada, and the EPA.
