TwinMind

TwinMind is an AI memory app co-founded in March 2024 by former Google X scientists Daniel George (CEO), Sunny Tang, and Mahi Karim. The app runs in the background on mobile and via a Chrome extension, capturing ambient speech and screen context (with user permission) to build a personal knowledge graph that generates notes, to-dos, and answers. It processes audio on-device in real time, supports offline transcription in over 140 languages, and can capture continuously for 16-17 hours without excessive battery drain. TwinMind raised a $5.7 million seed round led by Streamlined Ventures, with participation from Sequoia Capital and Stephen Wolfram, valuing the company at $60 million post-money as of the September 2025 raise. At that time the team numbered about 11 people and reported over 30,000 users, roughly half of them monthly active.
