Truelli

Truelli is a New York-based healthtech startup developing what it describes as the world's first menstrual pad with built-in screening technology, aiming to turn a menstrual period into a health checkpoint. The smart pad is designed to analyze menstrual blood, an information-rich but historically overlooked biomarker, and to routinely assess four health indicators: nutrient levels, hormonal fluctuations, metabolic function, and sexual health. Results sync to a companion mobile app that delivers actionable insights to the user. The company was founded by CEO Sabine Zureikat, alongside co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer Dr. Saba Alzabin, a molecular oncology and immunology PhD who also co-founded Nabta Health. Truelli has worked with outside partners on the pad's design and manufacturing files, on customizing lateral flow strips to detect target analytes in menstrual blood, and on chemical formulation; it has also partnered with IQVIA to recruit 1,000 women to test the pad following completion of its MVP. Truelli's investors include KBW Ventures, Meshari Al Jabr, Vital Ventures by Revival Lab, and 500 Global, and the company was selected for Saudi Arabia's RDI Startup Attraction Program 2025 cohort of health and wellness startups.
