Travaras is a social enterprise travel platform built for the environmentally conscious traveler. It curates and enables booking of certified sustainable accommodations and regenerative activities — experiences designed to positively impact local communities and ecosystems rather than merely minimizing harm. The platform makes it easier for travelers to discover and book verified regenerative travel options that reduce their environmental footprint. Travaras was backed by Techstars (Cohort '24) and raised a $1.54M pre-seed round in May 2025, exceeding its target. The company is currently expanding from its initial Hawaii market.
