Building web-based software to create, share, explore, and enjoy content.
Thing Labs was a web software company founded by Jason Shellen, a former Googler known for his work on Blogger and co-creating Google Reader. The company built Plinky, a Q&A-based personal publishing tool that made it easy for people to create, share, explore, and enjoy content. Thing Labs also developed Brizzly, a Twitter client. Plinky was acquired by Automattic (the company behind WordPress.com) in 2010. The company is effectively defunct following the acquisition.
