The Rumie Initiative is a Toronto-based non-profit and registered Canadian charity, founded in 2013 by Tariq Fancy, that develops and distributes free digital learning resources to children in underserved communities across 20+ countries with limited internet connectivity. Its LearnCloud platform and microlearning content are deployed largely through partnerships with schools, NGOs, and humanitarian organizations, including emergency-response education efforts during crises such as the Ebola outbreak and the Syrian refugee crisis.
