Strohm

Strohm is the world's first and leading manufacturer of fully bonded Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP), serving the offshore energy sector with lightweight, high-strength, and corrosion-resistant pipeline solutions. Founded in 1995 in the Netherlands as Airborne International by aerospace engineers, the company pioneered TCP technology in partnership with Shell and built the world's largest TCP track record across conventional oil and gas, hydrogen, and CCUS applications. Operating from its full-scale production facility in IJmuiden (Port of Amsterdam), Strohm — formerly known as Airborne Oil & Gas until its 2020 rebrand — employs more than 250 people globally and offers the ability to manufacture up to five kilometers of TCP on a single spool. Its products are engineered to replace steel pipes in demanding subsea and offshore environments.
