StepHow

StepHow is an AI-powered knowledge management system (KMS) that automates the creation of internal procedure documentation and step-by-step manuals. Users install a browser extension or desktop program; StepHow's AI observes user actions—clicks, typing, drags—and automatically converts them into formatted, numbered visual guides in approximately 30 seconds, over 60 times faster than manual screenshot-and-PowerPoint methods. The resulting documents are stored in a collaborative web-based workspace with features including sensitive data masking, text-box insertion, auto-numbering, and flexible sharing via URL, HTML embed, or MS file export. An LLM-based assistant also drafts text-heavy documents—policies, processes, FAQs—from a single prompt. Target customers are large and mid-sized enterprises and public institutions with high staff turnover and undocumented tacit knowledge. Clients include Olive Young, CJ CheilJedang, Daekyo Group, BGF Retail, Kyung Hee University, and Korea Housing Management Corporation.
