Sphinx is an AI data governance platform that makes enterprise data and AI outputs reliable and accurate. Founded in 2025 by Rohan Kodialam (formerly an AI research leader at Citadel) and Jamie Bloxham (early technology lead at MosaicML), Sphinx sits between a company's AI tools and its underlying data stack, continuously governing and correcting AI outputs. The platform automatically captures and maintains a centralized, living knowledge base of business logic, metric definitions, and institutional knowledge, ensuring every AI output is consistent, auditable, and self-correcting. Sphinx provides end-to-end auditability, governance and access controls, and self-correcting accuracy across all connected AI tools and databases. The company launched in September 2025 with a $9.5 million seed round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, and is headquartered in New York.
