Santé (santehq.com) is an all-in-one, AI-powered point-of-sale and operations platform built specifically for liquor and wine retailers. Founded in 2023 by CEO Darren Fike — whose idea grew out of working nights and weekends at a New York City wine shop — the company went through Y Combinator's Summer 2023 batch. Santé unifies inventory receiving, POS, e-commerce, delivery-marketplace integrations, marketing, reporting, and payments into a single system, and layers in AI to automate invoice intake, product-catalog creation, customer segmentation, and merchandising workflows. The platform also includes RFID-based theft monitoring and state-by-state compliance management for alcohol shipping regulations. Santé has processed over $500M in transaction volume across hundreds of stores and closed a $7.6M seed round led by Bonfire Ventures, with participation from Operator Collective, Y Combinator, and Veridical Ventures.
