Salus Scientific is a Mount Pleasant, South Carolina-based occupational wellness company that designs, manufactures, and sells radiation protection technology for healthcare workers performing fluoroscopy-guided procedures. Its product line includes GLiFT, a personal protection garment system that uses a patented endoskeleton to transfer the weight of radiation-attenuating aprons from the shoulders and back to the hips, and PeRM, a real-time dosimetry program. The company also offers AeroShield, an advanced protection system, and inventory management programs for healthcare facilities. Salus Scientific was founded in 2021. In August 2026, the company closed an oversubscribed Series A financing round of $10.1 million, exceeding its original $8.0 million target, to fund commercial scale-up and expand production and clinical infrastructure.
