Protonet

Protonet GmbH was founded in 2012 in Hamburg, Germany by Ali Jelveh and Christopher Blum, following one of Europe's fastest crowdfunding campaigns at the time, and was later named Germany's start-up of the year in 2014. Protonet builds a cloud-based social project management and collaboration platform that combines communications, file storage, and project management tasks in a single tool, delivered through combined hardware-and-software servers that let small businesses run their own private cloud instead of relying on public services. The company is headquartered in Hamburg with a secondary office in the San Francisco Bay Area.
