Pocket, formerly known as Read It Later, was a social bookmarking and content-saving service that allowed users to save articles, videos, and web pages to read or watch later on any device, even offline. Founded in 2007 by Nate Weiner, it grew to 17 million users and 1 billion saves before being acquired by Mozilla in 2017. The service was shut down in July 2025.
