PleasrDAO is a Web3 collective founded around 2021 that began with the acquisition of pplpleasr's Uniswap V3 NFT and has grown into one of the most recognized collectors of digital culture. The DAO acquires historically important digital artifacts — including the original Doge NFT, Edward Snowden's 'Stay Free' artwork, and the only copy of Wu-Tang Clan's unreleased album 'Once Upon a Time in Shaolin' — with the mission of preserving culturally significant pieces of internet history. PleasrDAO explores new models of collective ownership through blockchain governance, including fractionalizing the Doge NFT into the $DOG token so thousands of participants can co-own iconic internet artifacts.
