Pheno.ai is an AI health data company spun out of Professor Eran Segal's computational biology lab at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, established in 2021. The company operates the Human Phenotype Project, a large-scale longitudinal deep-phenotype cohort that has enrolled approximately 28,000 participants and integrates multi-omics, clinical, sensor, wearable, microbiome, metabolomics, imaging, and lifestyle datasets. Pheno.ai's mission is to build the world's most comprehensive collection of deep-phenotype human data and develop AI foundation models for precision health that can predict disease years before clinical onset, simulate interventions, and personalize therapeutics. The company collaborates with NVIDIA, the Weizmann Institute, and MBZUAI, and has published research in Nature Medicine demonstrating a generative foundation model for glucose monitoring capable of predicting 66% of future diabetes cases a decade in advance.
