Clean water. Down to the last drop.
Oxyle is a Swiss cleantech company that has developed a patented catalytic technology to permanently destroy PFAS ('forever chemicals') from wastewater and contaminated groundwater. Unlike conventional approaches that filter or adsorb PFAS, Oxyle's nanocatalyst-based system degrades PFAS compounds — including the most challenging short and ultrashort chain variants (PFBA, TFA, PFBA) — down to below detection limits without generating secondary waste streams. Founded in Zurich in 2020 by Dr. Fajer Mushtaq and Dr. Silvan Staufert, the company raised $16M in seed funding in 2024 led by 360 Capital and has deployed its first full-scale industrial system treating 10 m³/hour of contaminated groundwater. Oxyle serves industrial wastewater operators, environmental remediation companies, and public water utilities across Europe.
