Miga Health

Miga Health is a San Francisco-based virtual care company focused on heart health, founded in 2021 by Andreas Limberopoulos and Jarrad Aguirre, MD. The company combines a character-driven, gamified mobile app with a full-stack clinical team — including medical providers, dietitians, and health coaches — to help patients manage blood pressure, weight, diabetes, and cholesterol from home. Miga is covered by major insurers including Medicare, BCBS, Humana, Aetna, Anthem, and Sana. Its clinical protocols were developed by physicians from Stanford, Harvard, Yale, and UCSF. In May 2022, Miga raised $12 million in seed funding to expand its at-home heart health platform.
