memQ is a Chicago-based quantum networking hardware company spun out of the University of Chicago in 2021. The company develops solid-state quantum memory modules and photonic interconnects that enable distributed quantum computing across optical networks. Its xQNA quantum memory modules are compatible with commercial 300mm semiconductor foundry processes, enabling scalable and cost-effective production. memQ has received funding from Quantonation, Exposition Ventures, and Hyde Park Venture Partners, and recently announced a Series A round in March 2026.
