Marit is a career community for physicians and advanced practice providers built around a 100% community-powered, anonymous salary-sharing platform that brings transparency to clinician compensation. It grew out of a personal salary-sharing project started by physician co-founder Dr. Rob Anderson, which expanded to over 5,000 contributors before becoming a formal company backed by the team behind Glassdoor. Marit now serves a community of 12,000+ physicians, APPs, residents, fellows, and students across 175 specialties and all 50 US states, remains free to use, and is backed by a $3.2M seed round.
