Mangata Networks

Mangata Networks is a satellite communications startup founded in February 2020 by Brian Holz (former CEO of OneWeb Satellites) and Juliette Neu. The company is developing a hybrid broadband megaconstellation using Highly Elliptical Orbit (HEO) and Medium Earth Orbit (MEO) satellites to deliver global connectivity, with a particular focus on coverage in high-latitude and Northern Hemisphere regions. The network architecture is designed to provide low-latency, high-throughput connectivity to enterprise, government, and mobility customers who are underserved by existing geostationary satellite systems. Mangata raised a $33M Series A round in January 2022 and is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona, with operations in Denver, Colorado and a commercial team in the Seattle area.
