Zero Emissions, Zero Nuclear Waste
LPPFusion (Lawrenceville Plasma Physics) is a nuclear fusion R&D company based in Middlesex, New Jersey, founded in 2003. The company is developing Focus Fusion, a fusion energy generator based on the dense plasma focus (DPF) device using aneutronic hydrogen-boron (pB11) fuel — producing zero radioactive waste and zero pollution. Initially funded by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the project is now backed by over 2,000 private international investors including the Abell Foundation of Baltimore, having raised over $8.6 million in total. LPPFusion's experimental results are published in leading peer-reviewed journals. The company also develops X-scan inspection technology as a spin-off.
