The ISH Company is a B Corp-certified plant-based food startup focused on healthy and sustainable seafood alternatives. Founded by CEO Bernard David following a personal health event, ISH stands for Innovative, Sustainable, and Healthy. The company takes a 'whole system approach,' vetting every ingredient against peer-reviewed scientific literature to ensure nutritional soundness, while avoiding highly processed additives. ISH started with plant-based shrimp (Shrimpish and Shrimpish Crumbles) and has since expanded to salmon, cod, crab, and lobster alternatives using natural ingredients like coconut and algae to replicate seafood flavors and textures. The company has a distribution partnership with Thai Union and sells to restaurants, colleges, and universities across the US and Europe.
