Inso Biosciences is a Cornell University-originated biotech company developing a microfluidic DNA sample preparation platform for next-generation sequencing. The company's patented 'micropillar' technology physically captures and purifies high molecular weight DNA directly from blood or cell samples in as little as 10 minutes, eliminating the degradation caused by conventional bead- or column-based approaches. The system enables ultra-long DNA fragment sizes (50 kb to 1,000+ kb), lossless RNA and DNA multiomic extractions, and automated workflows compatible with any downstream sequencer.
