Inphi Corporation was a Santa Clara, California-based high-speed analog and mixed-signal semiconductor company that produced 10G-800G components, optical subsystems, and digital signal processors for cloud, telecom, and data center markets. Founded in November 2000 by Gopal Raghavan, Tim Semones, and Loi Nguyen, Inphi developed linear transimpedance amplifiers, modulator drivers, coherent DSPs, PAM4 silicon, and silicon photonic-based subsystems used in long-haul, metro, and data center interconnect applications. Inphi traded on Nasdaq as IPHI and generated $683 million in revenue in 2020. In April 2021, the company was acquired by Marvell Technology for $8.2 billion.
