About
Hybrigenics Services is a Paris-based biotechnology contract research organization (CRO) specializing in protein interaction discovery and drug target identification using proprietary yeast two-hybrid (Y2H) technology. Founded in 1998 as a spinoff from the Institut Pasteur by Jean-Christophe Rain and colleagues, the company initially licensed and developed Pasteur's yeast two-hybrid platform and has since expanded into a comprehensive suite of protein interaction services for pharmaceutical, academic, and agriscience clients worldwide. Its flagship ULTImate Y2H technology enables exhaustive screening of protein-protein, protein-DNA, protein-RNA, and small molecule-protein interactions at high throughput. Additional platforms include ULTImate YChemH and Y2HChem for drug target deconvolution and identifying molecular glues and PROTACs, and the Hybribody service for proprietary nanobody (VHH) selection and validation. In 2017, the original Hybrigenics SA's CRO operations were spun out into Hybrigenics Services SAS as an independently owned entity. The company relocated to the Genopole biotech hub in Evry (near Paris) in 2019. Hybrigenics Services supports early-stage drug discovery for pharma, biotech, and academic clients globally.
