About
GR3N develops microwave-assisted depolymerization plants that convert PET and polyester waste from packaging and textiles into recycled monomers that can be re-polymerized into virgin-grade PET. Founded in 2011 after filing its depolymerization patent, the company licenses the technology for packaging and textile applications and is partnering with Intecsa Industrial to build a first-of-a-kind manufacturing facility targeting operations in 2027. Its MADE (Microwave Assisted DEpolymerization) process is designed to close the loop for polyester waste that conventional recycling cannot handle.
