GOTCHA Technology

GOTCHA Technology develops computer-vision software that detects micro-emotions by analyzing human facial behavior, based on behavioral science research. Micro-expressions last about 1/25th of a second, are involuntary, and are treated as universal across race, age, and gender. The product has two models: an evaluative model that assesses customer satisfaction for in-person service industries such as banking and telecom, plus HR, video conferencing, and surveys; and an investigatory model that helps enterprises and legal services detect fraud or deception. Benefits cited include better employee evaluation, customer-service quality, and higher-accuracy deception detection than existing tools.
