Fig: Food Is Good

Fig (Food Is Good) is a San Francisco-based digital health company that uses a personalized food scanner app to help people with dietary restrictions find food they can eat and enjoy. Founded in 2019 by Maxwell Rebarber and Andrew Hollar, Fig allows users to input their unique dietary profile — covering over 100 diets, any allergy, and any ingredient restriction — and then scans and rates grocery products in real time against that profile. The platform bridges the food and health system, working with registered dietitians and healthcare professionals to guide members toward better health through food. Fig's mission is to make eating with dietary restrictions easier, more spontaneous, and less isolating.
