Launch-on-demand from anywhere on Earth
Fenix Space is developing an innovative air-launch platform that uses a towed glider air launch system (TGALS), where a business jet tows a remotely piloted glider carrying a rocket to 40,000 feet, then releases it for an autonomous climb to 60,000 feet before launch. The system is designed to operate from any of 8,000 runways worldwide, enabling truly responsive launch-on-demand services at rideshare prices. Founded in 2019 and based in San Bernardino, California, Fenix Space completed a $30M Series A commitment from Alaska Capital in 2025 and is targeting its first full-scale flight test in 2026.
