Emsense

Emsense develops contactless, radar-based vital-signs monitoring technology for the automotive industry, using proprietary hardware and software to detect a driver's or passenger's health status without skin contact. The Gothenburg, Sweden-based startup aims to reduce traffic-accident fatalities by enabling faster medical response before, during, and after a crash, with applications extending to smart cities, smart offices, and material handling. Emsense is a member of the Plug and Play Tech Center ecosystem and was named one of Europe's 50 most promising mobility startups by the European Startup Prize for Mobility in 2025.
