DOPS Recycling Technologies has developed and patented Direct Carbon Immobilization (DCI), a thermochemical conversion process that turns mixed and polluted waste streams into syngas, minerals, metals, and sequestered carbon while emitting little to no greenhouse gases. Waste is processed at high temperature in an oxygen-free reactor that breaks hydrocarbons into syngas, leaving clean carbon and separable solids for industrial 24/7 operation. The Dutch company licenses the technology through long-term partnerships with operators handling biomass, industrial, metallurgical, electronic, and demolition waste, offering modular plants with a targeted payback within five years.
