Constructive Bio

Constructive Bio is a Cambridge-based synthetic genomics company spun out from the laboratory of Prof. Jason Chin at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology. The company uses the world's first fully synthetic recoded organism to produce therapeutics with chemistries that natural biology cannot access, combining de-novo genome synthesis with engineered translation. Its platform enables the incorporation of non-canonical amino acids into peptides and proteins at scale, unlocking new classes of enzymes, pharmaceuticals, and biomaterials. Constructive Bio's technology is built on peer-reviewed science published in Nature, Science, and Nature Chemistry.
