ClimateView

ClimateView is a Swedish climate technology company that provides transition intelligence software to local governments, cities, and regions worldwide. Founded in 2018 by Tomer Shalit, Einar Bodström, and Jeff Goens, ClimateView was born from a collaboration with Sweden's top climate authorities — including the Swedish Climate Policy Council, the Swedish Energy Agency, and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency — to build the first actionable framework for monitoring Sweden's path to climate neutrality. The ClimateView platform enables governments to model key drivers of decarbonization, simulate transition scenarios, assess the societal and environmental benefits of climate actions, and monitor progress against science-based KPIs. Its open-source Transition Elements Framework (TEF), grounded in IPCC guidelines, provides a standardized KPI framework adopted by cities across Europe and North America, creating the world's largest network of governments using a shared approach to climate planning. ClimateView also partners with ICLEI USA and research institutions to keep the platform current with the latest climate science. The company's mission is to help cities, regions, and nations turn sustainability ambitions into measurable, actionable reality through data-driven transition planning.
