About
Chiral Nano AG is a Swiss deeptech company, spun out of ETH Zurich and Empa, that industrialises the integration of nanomaterials into advanced semiconductor devices. Nanomaterials such as carbon nanotubes, TMDs and hBN have long shown superior performance in the lab but stalled in industry because there was no scalable, precise, contamination-free way to place them on wafers. Chiral built what it describes as the industry's first robotic nanomaterial integration system, combining automation, high-precision engineering and AI to achieve selective, contamination-free placement at wafer scale. It sells both a Nanoassembly Equipment system and a Nanodevice Foundry service, and is moving from development into deployment with first commercial systems installing at customer sites in 2026. CEO Seoho Jung leads the Zurich-based team.
