China Energy Storage (中储国能)

China Energy Storage (中储国能（北京）技术有限公司) is a Beijing-based industrialization company spun out of the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, founded in December 2018. It is a pioneer in advanced compressed-air energy storage (CAES), with in-house research and design, core equipment manufacturing, system integration, and power-station investment and operation capabilities spanning 1-660MW systems. The company has built multiple national demonstration CAES stations across China, including a 300MW plant in Feicheng, Shandong, and was named to China's 2026 unicorn company list.
