Zenobē designs, finances, builds, and operates battery solutions that capture renewable energy, balance its supply on the grid, and transport it to electric vehicles. The company is a leading owner and operator of battery storage in the UK, supporting the National Grid with renewable power uptake and working with approximately 90% of major bus companies, powering 25% of the UK e-bus market. With approximately 1,300 MW of contracted storage assets live or under contract and over 3,400 electric vehicles supported globally, Zenobē operates in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, North America, Benelux, Germany, and Spain. At the end of battery lifecycles, the company repurposes them into second-life applications, building a circular economy for batteries. Since its founding in 2017, Zenobē has raised over £2.3 billion in debt and equity funding and aims to have 4,000 electric buses, trucks, and commercial vehicles in operation and 1.2 GW of battery power delivering grid services by 2026.
