Electrifying last-mile mobility with smart battery swapping
ChargeUp (eChargeUp Solutions Pvt Ltd) is India's largest battery-as-a-service and battery-swapping network for electric two- and three-wheelers. Founded in 2019 in New Delhi by Varun Goenka, Satish Mittal, and Arun Madan, ChargeUp deploys IoT-enabled smart batteries and swap stations that let e-rickshaw and last-mile delivery drivers exchange depleted batteries for charged ones in minutes. The platform uses AI and machine learning to predict battery health, optimize swap-station placement, and build a 'Karma Score' system rewarding driver behavior. ChargeUp aims to enable 1 million driver-entrepreneurs by 2030 while accelerating the electrification of last-mile logistics in India.
