CalcTree is a Sydney-based engineering calculation management platform that enables structural, civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers to create, automate, and collaborate on technical calculations in a single cloud workspace. The platform integrates with Excel spreadsheets, Python scripts, and external APIs, allowing teams to connect data sources, link parameters across projects, and build reusable calculation templates from existing IP. CalcTree AI, launched in 2025, generates fully editable calculation pages grounded in engineering knowledge with traceable reasoning. Founded in 2021 by Tim Rawling, Mahan Lamei, and Onur Ekinci, CalcTree raised $3.8M in pre-seed funding in 2025 led by Foundamental, Standards Australia, and Kungari.
