Ship hardware at software speed
BootLoop is an AI agent platform for firmware and embedded software development. The platform ingests hardware documentation—datasheets, schematics, Altium projects—to build deep context about a device, then writes framework-native firmware code, compiles it against the target toolchain, flashes it to real hardware, and iterates using serial monitors and debuggers until the code runs clean. Built-in static analysis detects security flaws, buffer overflows, and race conditions. The HIL (hardware-in-the-loop) testing module auto-generates unit, integration, compile-time, and runtime test plans and executes them against connected instruments. A separate Sentinel module localizes faults from bug reports and produces root-cause hypotheses with fix proposals. The platform supports Zephyr, VxWorks, ESP-IDF, Yocto, and bare-metal workflows in C, C++, and Rust across thousands of chip families, and is the first ITAR-capable coding agent targeting aerospace, defense, medical devices, and industrial hardware markets. Founded by ex-SpaceX and MIT Media Lab engineers; backed by Y Combinator (S25).
