Arcjet is a developer-first security platform that embeds runtime protection directly into application code. It provides a suite of composable security components including bot detection, rate limiting, email validation, form spam prevention, PII detection, and WAF-style attack protection. Arcjet integrates natively with Next.js, Node.js, Bun, SvelteKit, and modern deployment platforms like Vercel and Netlify. Its local-first, WebAssembly-powered engine evaluates security policies inline within the application without adding network latency. The platform has expanded into AI security with AI budget controls, tool authorization for AI agents, and prompt injection protection. Arcjet raised seed funding from Andreessen Horowitz in September 2024.
