AgentMail

AgentMail is a San Francisco-based startup building the first email provider designed specifically for AI agents. The platform provides an API that lets developers give AI agents their own dedicated email inboxes — with full two-way communication, threading, labeling, searching, replying, and built-in spam detection — in the same way Gmail serves humans. Founded by Haakam Aujla, Michael (Hyun) Kim, and Adi Singh (University of Michigan graduates from Optiver, Nvidia, and Accel), AgentMail emerged from Y Combinator's Summer 2025 batch and raised a $6M seed round led by General Catalyst in March 2026, with participation from Y Combinator, Phosphor Capital, and angels including Paul Graham, Dharmesh Shah, Paul Copplestone, and Karim Atiyeh. The company counts tens of thousands of human users, hundreds of thousands of agent users, and over 500 B2B customers. AgentMail's onboarding API allows agents to sign up and create inboxes entirely autonomously, and integrates with LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, and any framework that can make API calls.
