Affinion Group

Affinion Group (now cxLoyalty/Tenerity) was a leading provider of loyalty marketing, customer engagement, and membership programs serving financial institutions, retailers, and other businesses. Founded in 1973 as CUC International, it was acquired by Apollo Global Management in 2005 and reorganized as Affinion Group. The company reached approximately 250 million consumers across 20 countries, managing 59 million subscribers in membership and insurance services and 62 million loyalty program customers. Affinion designed, marketed, and serviced programs covering credit card rewards, discount clubs, identity theft protection, and insurance products for roughly 5,500 marketing partners. It rebranded as cxLoyalty in 2019; JPMorgan Chase acquired its Global Loyalty division in January 2021, with the remaining business rebranding as Tenerity, Inc.
