The company was incubated by AI Fund, Andrew Ng's venture studio, and raised a $5 million seed round in February 2025 led by GPG Ventures with participation from AI Fund. Affineon is headquartered in Denver, Colorado, and is led by CEO Evan Grossman (former COO at Zus Health, CPO at Innovaccer) and CMO Ryan Van Wert, MD (co-founder of Vynca, faculty at Stanford Biodesign).
